Why am I charged a retail delivery fee for orders to Colorado?

On July 1st, 2022, the state of Colorado began imposing a retail delivery fee of $0.27 on all deliveries by motor vehicle to a location in Colorado with at least one item of tangible personal property subject to state sales or use tax. The retail delivery fee has the same requirements as the Colorado sales tax, though it isn’t a part of the sales tax, but a separate fee and is applied per order. As of May 4, 2023, Calendars.com started charging the retail delivery fee for all US-based orders with the delivery address in Colorado. For additional information and FAQs, please visit Colorado Department of Revenue.

Please note that the retail delivery fee is non-refundable, which includes returned orders. Once an order ships, the retail delivery fee will not be refunded. Orders that are canceled before shipping will be refunded in full. Customers will not be charged this fee for replacement orders or exchanges.
